The Fast Lane x Mellonah by *Mellon

Dam

Mellonah is a race winning mare out of the Samtyr daughter, Betsama. Mellonah is the dam of the quite famous NO SHOW JONES, who has now won over $120,000. Mellonah has been producing winners for many years... her first foal, the 1994 model Orzelda, was a winner.

Sire of Mellonah was the imported stallion *Mellon, born at the Michalow State Stud in Poland. He was the great son of Celebes, out of the mare Mantyla by Grand- a pedigree very much revered for racing ability. After a successful race career in Poland winning 8 races, Mellon was brought to the states in 1978 when he was 9 years old. He sired over 45 winners including 11 known stakes winners.

*Mellon's most famous racing daughter is the Hall of Fame mare HT Sarah, $251,989. Mellon is also sire of champion reining horse PB Walor.

Sire

THE FAST LANE, 13(7-3-0)1-3 is a 1987 bay stallion by Eldans Tiki Pi and out of the dam Fagai. He's been lightly used as a sire, with only 17 progeny and only 8 of those to race. Sire of the stakes placed gelding, Im Movin On; multi winner Color Me Gone $68,068; winners Miss Pam and Funontherun; and stakes placed Tollbooth $43,528.

The Fast Lane's dam Fagai produced stakes placed Noorr (dam of the fantastic multi stakes winner NAFISSAH); the now deceased Sammie Joe (a multi winner who produced 3 Stakes winners, 8 winners, offspring earnings over $215,472); multi stakes placed Sweet Poison; Gaibaska (producer of winners, including the exported stallions I Feel Good and Ask A Man); stakes placed Alongtheway 34(11-8-7)1-2; and more... The Fast Lane's dam was very prolific and produced excellent quality. Three of her babies were exported to France and UAE.
