ROLLY POLLY topped off her first year of racing with a win of the Texas Arabian Futurity. This put her record at 6(4-1-0)3-1 $52,358 - good enough to win her the votes to be named Darley 3 Year Old Filly of the Year. Her stakes record: 2nd Arabian Cup Championship Juvenile Filles S., 1st Betsy Ross Distaff S., 1st Dr. Sam Harrison Juvenile Distaff S., 1st Texas Arabian Futurity.

ROLLY POLLY started off 2007 gamely winning the $40,000 Yellow Rose for Arabian fillies at Sam Houston Race Park, which attracted a field of 12. From here she headed to Delaware to add to her collection of stakes wins. In her usual fashion of coming off the pace, she came up from the back of the field and rushed to the lead to win the Wes & Betty Wright Delaware Park Distaff.

He is out of an unraced daughter of DJOURMAN who is the dam of 4 other foals to race, 3 winners, including FALINA DES FABRIES's full siblings DALINA DES FABRIES (1st Coupe d'Al Asayl Stables of Abu Dhabi, etc.) and Elina des Fabries (3rd Prix du Crown Prince d'Abu Dhabi, etc.). His fourth dam is the outstanding broodmare, Nevada II.

FALINA DES FABRIES' first foals raced in 2006 and won 7 of a possible 8 black type stakes races for 3 year olds. (Statistics limited to black type races in Delaware and Texas.) Often the FALINA DES FABRIES babies took 1st, 2nd and/or 3rd prize in the same stake like in the ARC Juvenile Fillies Grade 1 Stake. The 1st 3 finishers were -- Scoot, Rolly Polly, and Kittilina. FALINA DES FABRIES was the leading ARC sire in number of mares bred in 2006, with 20 mares expecting his foals in 2007. FALINA DES FABRIES died on Christmas Eve, 2006. The stallion had a great future as a sire, and his loss is considered a real tragedy. The progeny he leaves behind are very valuable to carry on his line.
